Build the Pyramid How to Beat the Pharaoh Boss
Team prep, arena roles, damage windows, and wipe recovery for the climax fight.
Why this fight matters
The Roblox description is blunt: kill the Pharaoh Boss or face the curse of the Supreme Pharaoh. Defeated The Pharaoh Boss! is the prestige badge, earned by a much smaller share of visitors than the build and reach badges. Treat the encounter as a raid-lite climax for a 25-player simulation lobby, not a side objective.
This guide assumes you already understand basic carrying from Getting Started and can finish construction efficiently with Build Faster. If your lobby still cannot complete the slab step cleanly, pause and read Return the Slab first — opening the boss under-prepared is how curse wipes start.
Preconditions before you pull
Do not rush the interior just because the pyramid looks tall.
- Structure ready. Layers should be stable enough that players can path into the boss space without collapsing routes.
- Slab handled. The return-the-slab objective should be complete or actively controlled so the curse fantasy does not punish the pull.
- Headcount. More living players beat the Pharaoh faster. Call AFK users back or hop servers if only a handful remain.
- Group bonus online. Carriers who still need bricks mid-fight should already have the +3 capacity from the TestGrounds32 group.
- Role split. At least a few dedicated Fighters, one Scout for callouts, and supporters who keep paths clear. See the Tier List.
If any box fails, spend five more minutes building and organizing. The badge will wait; a wipe burns morale.
Reach The Pharaoh Boss badge vs the kill badge
Reach The Pharaoh Boss! proves the team opened the encounter space. Defeated The Pharaoh Boss! proves you finished the job. Many lobbies earn the reach badge and then scatter. When you see the reach unlock pop, type a short hold call: “stay for kill — assign fighters.” Momentum dies in the next thirty seconds if nobody leads.
Party habits for that moment are covered on Players.
Role plan for the arena
Fighters stay on the Pharaoh. Their only job is consistent damage and not dying to telegraphed fear or violence beats. Mild maturity content still means you can lose players to panic movement.
Supporters clear dropped bricks or bodies that block lanes, revive or re-path teammates when possible, and keep the exit route open if a reset is needed.
Scout watches for curse tells, door states, and players wandering off. Without voice chat, the Scout types short alerts: “spread,” “stack left,” “slab secure,” “boss turning.”
Carriers / late Stackers only ferry last bricks if the structure still needs a patch. Once the fight is live, extra construction traffic usually causes more collisions than progress.
Step-by-step pull
- Gather at the agreed door or interior marker.
- Confirm slab status one last time in chat.
- Enter together — staggered entries get picked apart.
- Fighters establish a concave or side angle so nobody stands in the same bad telegraph.
- Supporters call when someone is down or trapped.
- Commit through the final health phase; do not leave for bricks mid-enrage fantasy.
- After the kill, stay for badge pops and help stragglers who missed the room.
If the Supreme Pharaoh curse pressure begins because the team hesitated, reset with purpose: leave, restack roles, and pull again with a fuller living count. Random hero pulls waste the server.
Movement and survival tips

- Keep camera height readable; panic zoom causes cliff falls on pyramid geometry. Tune this on Controls.
- Do not stand in doorways. Twenty-five-player traffic jams are real.
- Save jumps for dodges, not for showing off on ledges.
- If you die early, respawn and sprint back — empty fighter count is the main wipe reason.
- Avoid scripted kill auras in public clears; they often desync the fight and grief teammates. Risks are listed on Scripts.
Damage discipline
Burst when the Pharaoh is vulnerable and reposition when telegraphs demand it. Unverified “always attack” habits get whole lobbies killed. Watch veteran players for one cycle before you tunnel. If nobody seems experienced, appoint two callers and rotate after a wipe instead of arguing.
Focus fire beats split damage. Call a side of the arena and stick to it so supports can predict where bodies fall.
What to do after a wipe
- Count who is still in the server.
- Repair any broken pathing on the pyramid if the wipe damaged routes.
- Re-confirm slab and curse state.
- Re-assign Fighters — replace AFK names.
- Pull again within a few minutes while knowledge is fresh.
If the lobby bleeds below a usable count, hop. A new 15–20 player server mid-build is often faster than babysitting five survivors through curse pressure.
Linking build speed to boss success
Fast clears arrive at the boss with more active players still paying attention. Slow builds lose people to boredom. That is why Build Faster and the group +3 carry bonus are boss prep, not just construction flex. The Codes hub explains the bonus when promo strings are absent.
Common failure patterns
- Opening the boss with half the pyramid unfinished
- Nobody owning the slab objective
- All players sightseeing instead of fighting
- Blocking the arena entrance with AFK bodies
- Ignoring mild fear telegraphs and face-tanking every hit
- Leaving after the Reach badge unlocks
Fix those and the kill badge rate jumps without any cheats.
After your first kill
Help the next public lobby. Call roles early, protect new fighters, and link teammates to this page or the Guides Hub. Teaching the pull makes your own future pubs smoother. Check Updates after patches in case arena timing changes.
Official place and group links stay on the Wiki links page if you need to rejoin quickly after a crash.
Master this fight and the rest of Build the Pyramid’s fantasy — cursed bricks, slab return, teamwork — finally pays off with the crown badge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What happens if we do not kill the Pharaoh Boss?
The game warns you will face the Supreme Pharaoh curse. Treat that as a fail state — reset, reorganize, and pull again with more living fighters.
Do we need a full 25 players to win?
No, but higher living counts help. Many clears succeed with a committed mid-size team; empty lobbies struggle.
When should we enter the boss?
After the pyramid path is ready, the slab objective is handled, and fighters are actually at the door together.
I got Reach The Pharaoh Boss but not the defeat badge. Why?
Reach only means you accessed the encounter. You must finish the kill for Defeated The Pharaoh Boss!
Should carriers keep building during the fight?
Only for emergency path repairs. Extra brick traffic usually causes collisions; focus on living fighters instead.
Are scripts required for the boss?
No. Coordinated players with the group carry bonus clear legitimately. Scripts risk bans and often break fights.
