Build the Pyramid Badges Guide
All four Roblox badges, award counts, unlock order, and how to push the rare clears.
Why badges matter in this co-op
Build The Pyramid Together! by TestGrounds32 tracks progress with four official Roblox badges. They are not cosmetic fluff - they map the published fantasy: stack the cursed pyramid, reach the Pharaoh, win the fight, then prove you can do the hard clear again. Use this page as a session planner. Pair it with Getting Started for your first hour and Beat Pharaoh Boss when you are ready for the kill.
Award counts below are approximate community totals at research time and drift as more players clear. Treat them as rarity signals, not live leaderboards.
The four badges at a glance
| Badge | Approx. awards | What it proves |
|---|---|---|
| Build The Pyramid! | ~103,986 | You started the adventure / participated in the build fantasy |
| Reach The Pharaoh Boss! | ~31,592 | Your lobby opened the encounter space |
| Defeated The Pharaoh Boss! | ~12,505 | You finished the first prestige kill |
| Second Pharaoh Boss! | ~1,272 | You proved exceptional twice - the rarest track |
Rough funnel math: most visitors earn the build badge, about one in three of those reach the boss, fewer than half of reachers finish the defeat, and only a thin slice earn the second clear. That funnel is why public lobbies stall - not because the badges are broken.
Badge 1 - Build The Pyramid!
Official flavor: welcome, a new adventure begins. This is the participation / onboarding badge. It usually pops early as you join the desert build and contribute to the cursed pyramid fantasy. Do not overthink it.
How to unlock reliably
- Join from the real place (see Wiki links).
- Claim the free TestGrounds32 group bonus for +3 blocks carry capacity before long grind sessions (Codes confirms there are still no verified promo strings).
- Complete clean brick trips with the active face using Build Faster habits.
If the badge is slow to appear, keep stacking with the team instead of wandering the sands. Empty tourism does not help the funnel.
Badge 2 - Reach The Pharaoh Boss!
Flavor text wishes you luck defeating the Pharaoh inside the pyramid. Reach means the team progressed far enough to confront the encounter space - not that the kill is done.
Unlock path
- Raise a stable structure so players can path inward.
- Handle Return the Slab with a named Scout and a small escort squad.
- Enter the boss area together so the reach pop is shared momentum, not a tourist screenshot.
When Reach unlocks, type a short hold call: stay for kill, assign fighters. Many servers earn Reach and then scatter - that is exactly how defeat rates stay lower.
Badge 3 - Defeated The Pharaoh Boss!
This is the prestige clear: you proved yourself a great fighter. Historically around twelve thousand awards versus six figures on the build badge.
Unlock path
- Finish construction and slab discipline first.
- Pull with living fighters, not AFK doorway blockers.
- Survive telegraphs, focus damage, and commit through the final phase.
- Stay long enough for the badge to register and help stragglers who entered late.
Full arena roles, wipe recovery, and curse risk sit on Beat Pharaoh Boss. If your lobby keeps reaching but never defeating, audit fighter count and slab ownership before blaming RNG.
Badge 4 - Second Pharaoh Boss!
Description: you have proven to be truly exceptional, twice. With only about 1,272 awards, this is the prestige-plus badge. Expect it to require another successful Pharaoh clear after your first defeat - treat it as a deliberate rematch goal, not an accidental pop.
Practical tips for the second clear
- Re-run the same quality checklist: group +3 online, slab Scout assigned, fighters gathered.
- Prefer a mid-to-full lobby. Second clears die when five veterans try to force a pub that already lost interest.
- After a wipe, reset with purpose instead of ego-pulling. The Supreme Pharaoh curse page covers fail states and recovery callouts.
- Optional convenience purchases are covered on Gamepasses - never required, sometimes helpful for lives or pace.
Do not confuse a second visit to the arena with the badge. Reach can pop again in spirit for new teammates, but Second Pharaoh Boss expects the exceptional double proof described on the badge itself.
Recommended unlock order for one focused night

- Group join + rejoin for carry capacity.
- Ten clean deliveries - push Build The Pyramid! if it is still missing.
- Build a critical path, not decorative wings (Build Faster).
- Execute slab return with escorts (Return the Slab).
- Hold for Reach, then immediately rotate fighters for Defeat.
- If Defeat lands and the lobby is still healthy, call a second attempt for Second Pharaoh Boss! before people leave.
Party habits for that call live on Players. Role priority lives on the Tier List.
What does not unlock badges
- Codes from Mega Pyramid Tycoon or other Egypt games - wrong place entirely.
- Standing AFK in the boss doorway while others fight.
- Executor scripts that desync the encounter (Scripts risk bans).
- Confusing this title with [MECHS] Build A Pyramid! (different creator and place) or Mega Pyramid Tycoon!.
Confirm place ID 139738303216775 and universe 7939389514 on the Wiki hub before you grind a lookalike.
Free upgrades vs paid help
Badges do not require Robux. The strongest free lever remains the group +3 carry bonus. Gamepasses such as Speed Coil, X2 Blocks, Fast Auto Build, and Infinite Lives can change pace or forgiveness - value notes are on Gamepasses - but coordinated carriers still clear legitimately.
After the 9 January 2026 place refresh, re-test routes and boss telegraphs via Updates. No later verified place patch is documented on this wiki yet, and no official Discord or Trello board has been found for patch notes.
Session checklist before a badge night
- Correct Roblox place favorited
- TestGrounds32 group joined (+3 carry verified in-game)
- Scout named for slab
- Carriers committed to one face
- Fighters ready at the door when Reach pops
- Plan spoken for a second clear if Defeat lands early
Finish Defeat once, teach the next public lobby, then chase Second Pharaoh Boss! with a party that already knows the pull. That is how the rarest badge stops feeling impossible and starts feeling like disciplined co-op.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many badges does Build the Pyramid have?
Four official badges: Build The Pyramid!, Reach The Pharaoh Boss!, Defeated The Pharaoh Boss!, and Second Pharaoh Boss!
Which badge is the rarest?
Second Pharaoh Boss! with roughly 1,272 awards. Defeated The Pharaoh Boss! is the main prestige clear at about 12,505.
Does Reach mean I beat the boss?
No. Reach only means the team accessed the encounter. You still need the defeat badge for the kill.
Do I need gamepasses to earn badges?
No. Join the TestGrounds32 group for free +3 carry, then clear with coordinated teammates. Passes are optional convenience.
What should I read before a defeat attempt?
Return the Slab, Beat Pharaoh Boss, and the Supreme Pharaoh curse guide so fail states do not surprise the lobby.
Can I earn Second Pharaoh Boss! in one sitting?
Yes if the lobby stays healthy after the first kill. Call the rematch immediately while fighters and slab knowledge are fresh.
